These poems were not written to sound beautiful. They were written because I needed somewhere for the pain to go.
In these pages you will meet a daughter learning to understand her mother’s illness, a girl sitting silently in rooms where conversations feel impossible, a human being slowly discovering compassion — for others and for herself.
Every poem here was written during a time when I was still figuring life out, still breaking, still healing.
This is not a book about having life together. It is about Life’ing — the messy, confusing, painful, and sometimes beautiful process of simply being alive.
