Laddu Lingam is not clever in the usual way. He doesn’t plan, he doesn’t scheme, he doesn’t outsmart anyone. In fact, he usually doesn’t even know what’s going on! But he has one great gift: his accidents solve problems. He may tumble down the stairs, but in the process, he’ll uncover a lost toy. He may chase a cat for stealing his dosa, but end up saving the school from a mystery.
In each of the stories you are about to read, Laddu Lingam stumbles, fumbles, and tumbles his way through everyday situations—at school, at home, in the neighbourhood. And though he never sets out to be a hero, he often becomes one by mistake.
These tales are written with a simple wish: that children (and maybe even grown-ups!) will laugh, giggle, and see a bit of themselves in Laddu Lingam. Because haven’t we all had moments where we tried our best, made a mess, and yet somehow, everything turned out alright?
